The barrel room during harvest. The freshness of crushed grapes, wine-soaked oak and dry wood in cool air. Near the bungholes the wood has gone dark with wine.
The surfaces keep traces of work and of past seasons. Even when people leave, something of the harvest stays in the wood and in the air.
