Orevanto keeps places — the way they feel, not the way they look.
Where it started
Orevanto began with a feeling I couldn’t keep. A room I liked, an hour of the day, air that smelled of something specific — and no way to take any of it home. Photographs keep the view; they don’t keep the atmosphere.
Scent turned out to be the most direct way. It skips description and goes straight to memory — one breath, and you are standing in the middle of a place.
Why these four
The first collection is four ordinary, unspectacular places. None of them are exotic, and that is exactly the point: they are the kind of places most people know from their own lives — and miss without noticing.
What “Study” means
Each candle is called a Study because it begins with looking, not blending. Before any formula there is a place: its air, its light, the hour of day, the materials — warm boards, pressed linen, cold stone, wine-soaked oak. The notes on the label are simply what was written down while standing there.
What connects them
All four studies move in the same direction: familiar rather than exotic, specific rather than abstract, quiet rather than loud. They are not perfumes for a room so much as small pieces of elsewhere.
A note from the studio
I make these in small batches and pour them by hand, and I would rather add a fifth place late than add it unfinished. If one of the four reminds you of somewhere you know — the collection has done its job.
